SCARF Inc is an Incorporated Association under the relevant laws of NSW, including the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (NSW).

SCARF Inc is managed by a Management Committee comprised of elected members. No members of the Management Committee hold paid positions within the organisation.

2017 Management Team

President Drew Arthur

Drew is the Managing Director of Micronet Systems (Australia). During the past 30 years, Drew has managed a small portfolio of Information Technology companies in Sydney, Wollongong and Brisbane. He is particularly interested in technology, Business to Business marketing strategy and customer relationship nurturing tactics. Drew is a Graduate of The Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

Vice-President/Human Resources and Risk Management Adviser Kath McCollim

photo-to-accompany-bioKath is a strategic change agent who has honed her skills from employment experience in the steel manufacturing and health insurance sectors and from consultancy engagements in the transport and local government sectors. She is presently the Director, Business Improvement and Assurance Division for the University of Wollongong. As Director Kath also facilitates the University’s Risk, Audit and Compliance Committee; a sub-committee of the University Council. Kath is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

Treasurer Irene Latoa

Irene LatoaA qualified CPA with more than 25 years corporate business experience, Irene has spent most of her career working at Nestle Nespresso in Australia and overseas, including seven years in key financial and general management positions in Singapore. Irene moved to the Illawarra with her husband (and Trinity the cat) in early 2015, where she established her bookkeeping business, First Class Accounts – North Wollongong, with the desire and passion to make a difference – by transforming small to medium sized businesses using the power of their financials to actualise their potential. Valuing personal growth, openness, respect, honesty and trust, Irene’s greatest passion is supporting others in the pursuit of their dreams.

Secretary Andrew Crichton

img_0125Andrew was a computer programmer and IT specialist who has worked with the NSW government across several departments and agencies, including FACS, Business Link, DOCS and Housing. Andrew is the SCARF Homework Help Coordinator, family mentor and active SCARF volunteer all-rounder.

 

 

Business and Strategy Development Advisor Jo Mould 

Jo MouldJo is General Manager with Konekt with specific experience in injury management/prevention and health & wellness. An executive manager with significant experience in strategic thinking and operational performance combined with high level leadership capability enables Jo to engage large and diverse teams in results-based accountabilities.

 

PR and Marketing Adviser Alina Azar

cropped-low-resAlina has held a variety of marketing, business management, leadership and teaching positions for over 20 years. She is currently Manager Economic Development in local government and has previously held senior marketing roles in both private and public companies, as well as Chief Executive Officer and senior roles in marketing agencies across Australia and UK. Alina has also provided marketing and business strategic advice across multiple industries. Alina has recently completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors – Directorship course.

Fundraising Adviser Joanna Stuart

img_2558Joanna is passionate to support small business owners to have a “Balanced Rich Life” through etaxperts a business advisory, tax and technology business she and her husband own and manage. She is a CPA, Tax agent and Tax Institute Chartered Tax Advisor. Joanna is currently focused on supporting SCARF to become a financially self-sustaining not for profit.

SCARF Executive Officer Sherryl Reddy

Sherryl ReddySherryl has always been interested in issues of displacement and the concept of home – the search for safety, dignity and a sense of belonging. For the past 10 years she has worked in refugee camps and displacement settings in Africa, Asia and the Middle East with UNHCR, UNICEF and various NGOs in conflict or disaster-affected locations such as Darfur, Soutth Sudan, Haiti, West Bank & Gaza, and Myanmar. She is Executive Officer for SCARF.
